Frankston RSL Sub Branch of the Year 2012
On Saturday November 24th Frankston RSL was announced Sub Branch of the Year 2012. Over the past 12 months the business along with their workforce has continued to escalate. One of the highlights for the RSL was the opening of the new restaurant, Cracked Pepper, which opened its doors in July and is growing momentum by the week. Another of the highlights was the opening of the Young Veterans Centre in Skye road, the first of its kind in Australia and purpose built for young Veterans to re-engage with their defence colleagues and offer support where needed.
The RSL has continued its support for local community organisations such as City Life, Connecting Skills Australia & Menzies just to name just a few. Along with ongoing sponsorship and support to local sporting organisations grew to over 10.
By Frankston RSL winning this award it has made them the first RSL to win back to back awards. The icing on the cake for the Sub Branch was the General Manager, Rob Morrison, being honoured with the accolade of winning Sub Branch Manager of the Year. This is the second time for Rob winning this award, first won in 2006.

Frankston RSL was formed in 1919 to support the men in the region that had returned from war. Why our core purpose is still to support our Veterans, we also have formed strong ties to the local community. We provide regular direct financial assistance to numerous deserving groups throughout the local area and we are very proud sponsors of many local sporting organisations.
