Golf
The Frankston RSL Golf Sub-Section is a group of Frankston RSL members who gather on a monthly basis to join each other in a social game of golf.
The Frankston RSL Golf Social Club has members from all abilities, from the ‘fortunate’ few who can drive the ball a mile down the fairway, to the rest who struggle to put together a good round! It is a fun and friendly way to be introduced to the grand game of golf.
Join us in friendly competitions, where the focus is fun and enjoyment. We welcome all new members, of all abilities, from beginners to pros. Our group has both male and female members, and with a wide range of handicaps that are divided into 3 grades (A, B, C). We play once a month on a Sunday, and you’d be hard pressed to find better golfing company.
After each round of golf, they gather at the Frankston RSL Pavilion for a BBQ and presentation to announce the winners of each grade. The cost is included in the green fees, and drinks are available at a nominal price.
The BBQ serves not only to announce the winners for the day; it is a great opportunity to get together as a social group and enjoy great Golf company– and better company you won’t find!

Billiards & Snooker
The Frankston RSL Billiards & Snooker Section has been successfully competing in metropolitan competitions for over 60 years.
Utilising the two first class and well maintained full-size Alcocks tables in the Club’s Billiard Room, competitions are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights, as well as Tuesday midday. The season runs from February to October. Both billiards and snooker competitions are conducted with strong interest in both forms of the sport. Internal club championships are also a feature of our season. Both handicap and scratch competitions are on offer so all skill levels are well catered for.

Frankston RSL Pipes & Drums was formed from the Frankston City Pipe Band in 1994 and proudly wears the MacGregor tartan.
The band actively performs for community functions throughout the Mornington Peninsula and beyond. The band plays in two major annual events, of course ANZAC Day when it plays for RSL clubs across the Peninsula and Remembrance Day in November.
Their philosophy is to play good music, and play it well, to provide enjoyment, for both band members, and their audience. Part of that enjoyment is the satisfaction of playing to the best standard they can, without losing the fun of their hobby.
The band can provide a splash of colour and tradition to any function or event and can supply a Band, small groups or solo players to add that something extra to a small, or large, occasion.
The band is in a rebuilding phase and will welcome interest from experienced players who would like to play their pipes, or drum, in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
We practice on Wednesday evenings in the Pavilion at Frankston RSL, Cranbourne Road, Frankston.
Learners are welcome as they do provide tuition and it’s not all hard work and no play as they enjoy both social activities and fund raising events.

Frankston RSL Pipes and Drums are in need of experienced pipers and drummer. We practice every Wednesday evening at the Frankston RSL car park and ‘The Pavilion’ from 7PM-9PM.
